SAD, SAD PITIFUL PROOF THAT TOO MUCH FOOD NETWORK IS WATCHED AT MY HOUSE..

alright. well if you know me and my family, you probably are aware that 87% of tv watched by us is food network shows. though we do not watch tv much in the first place, it's kind of pathetic the food network stuff that goes on around here. not just watching food shows, but what we tend to do now because we saw it on a food show. my mom and sister are the ones most obsessed with it (for a long time, my sister really wanted to someday garnish a dessert with stevia..), but i'll watch with them most of the time. anywho, i suspect there's something very evil about food network that brainwashes you in some way and poisons your mind with terrible terrible creativity and deliciousness..

my sister and i had a cupcake war yesterday. well it was something more like a cupcake battle. 1 cupcake per person, and judged 100% on presentation (simply because we were using the exact same cupcake and frosting flavors). so we both went halloween crazy of course. and we ended up with the same design basically (i think we could see eachother's cupcakes too well). FOR THE RECORD, I put the spider ring on mine FIRST!!! she was painting a web on hers too, but hadn't thought of the ring until she saw me decorating mine with one!! i am not going to tell you which cupcake was made by who, and i'll explain why; moms are not good judges of competitions between their children. mr. dude, on the other hand, is excellent when it comes to quickly picking favorites and making decisions. we got him to be our one, only judge, who really couldn't've cared less. he's not a big dessert or candy fan, so when we interrupted his nap, and he awoke to cupcakes up in his face, he gave us one word, "NO." once we explained that he didn't have to eat them, he was happy to pick his favorite. I WON.
i would love some 2nd, 3rd, and maybe 4th opinions though! so i'm gonna label the cupcakes, and have you, my few faithful followers, vote on 'em! K?!?

WAAIT! I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT #THIS ONE WAS PHOTOGRAPHED MUCH BETTER THAN #THAT ONE. SO WHEN JUDGING THEM, TRY TO IGNORE UGLY SHADOWS AND BAD LIGHTING. (i would take new pictures, but we ate them for breakfast that morning..)
